:(

So, I had another interview yesterday with 3 principals and I felt that it went really well. It is now 8:36 pm and I think it is safe to say that they will not be calling me tonight with a job offer. I'm really bummed. I'm trying to not think about it too much because if I do I will cry. I refuse to be a life-time substitute teacher and am thinking that I might need to come up with a plan B. Any realistic suggestions?

Well, first, I don't know that you should count yourself out of this job just yet unless they told you they would let you know by that night. Most jobs aren't filled that quickly.

Second, you could always move back to Michigan. :)

Third, start pondering where else in the states you'd like to live, or look where there seems to be a lot of teacher jobs available and go to the temple with those states in mind. Pray about it and see if Heavenly Father gives you a good, strong feeling about any one of them. Maybe it's time for you to be thinking outside of W.V.

Fourth, could you use your education in another way? Could you get a job doing something else in the education field? That's about all I have right now. I'll talk to Charlie and see what he thinks too.

Hill, they said they would let the successful candidates know by yesterday, so I can count myself out. It is just really frustrating trying to find a teaching job especially since school is already in session. I am thinking that I might have to look for a job outside the education field.
