No School

So all schools in our area have closed (except Flint) and our kids are pretty excited (Charlie and I are too). We love snow days at our house. The storm is pretty bad and not over yet. I'm glad they canceled school. It wasn't fun to drive in to get to church or get home from church either. I prefer to stay nice and warm when it gets nasty outside, and now I get to. Yeah!

I love snow days. The power came back on around 7:30 and the furnace still hasn't shut off, it was dang cold in here.

I bet it was but I'm glad you have power again. Kim posted on facebook that she didn't have power either. I hope hers is back on now.

No school here either. It would be ok but they missed 2 days last week. It looks like it will be a long winter around here. Everytime that I drive around I'm so glad that we live in town on a diecent road. I wouldn't want to travel on most of the roads around here if there is snow on them. Only once so far have we had trouble getting up the hill to get out of the sub.

We drove passed a semi yesterday that got stuck going up hill. Unfortunately for him, there was a light at the top of the hill and it turned red on him so he lost his momentum. So he just sat there spinning his tires until traffic cleared enough that he could slowly back down the hill and try again. Our roads are so bad right now, and it's too cold for the salt to work yet.
