A First for Parker

Today Parker lost his first tooth!!!!! It has been loose for what feels like forever. It is funny because for weeks he has been saying, "My tooth might fall out today". Today was finally the day. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Parker on this very important milestone. Now he has to be sure to go to sleep tonight because we all know the Tooth Fairy doesn't come unless you are fast asleep.

Mother/Son dance

Jocelyn, Edward and Kenneth went to there first mother/son dance tonight and they all had alot of fun. All the boys wanted to do is eat all the food that they had there but Jocelyn made them dance with her.

Annual Pinewood derby race

Today was the ward annual pinewood derby. Our kids actually did pretty well. We were happy for them. I'm sure it was due to the time Charlie spent filing and sanding the axles for their cars. Makayla placed third and Merrit placed fourth in the primary class and Alexis won the open class. They set up the race for double elimination and unfortunately Jaxson didn't win either race he raced in. Chelsea won a couple of heats, but didn't place. All in all it was a fun time for all and something my kids look forward to every year. I'm glad it's a ward activity and not just for the cub scouts. Here they are with their cars.

A New Experience

Yesterday I had my first experience with subbing in high school. It was actually very boring because I was there for the art teacher and so all I did was sit there while the students either did their art work or not. I wasn't going to make/argue with the students to do their work, so a vast majority of the students did other things. Watching how they acted made me grateful that I am an elementary teacher and not a middle/high school teacher.

IT'S GONE

The snow is now all gone and the spring rains are here. But it has been nice with the temperatures in the 60's. I'm glad we live close to the top of the hill and do not have to worry about the floods.

all most there

Well we are about 80% moved in will finish the rest tomorrow. I moved most of it while Jocelyn was at work today. We have about half of the stuff already put away. Now we are resting for the night.
