A Good Early Morning Laugh

This morning the Bishop picked us up at 5:50am for a trip to the Washington D.C. Temple. The Bishop teaches astronomy at Fairmont State University and he was talking about how he uses frozen nitrogen to launch his rocket for class. Dad mentioned that he had also used frozen nitrogen before. Here is the rest of the conversation...

Bishop: "What did you use frozen nitrogen for?"
Dad: "We used it to freeze semen."
Bishop: (turns his head to look at dad and says in an uncomfortable voice) "I don't think I want to hear about this."
Dad: (calmly replies) "On the farm we would freeze semen to use for in vitro fertilization."
Bishop: (with great relief in his voice) "Oh! I didn't even think about a farm when you said that"

That's right, Bishop Hansen thought dad was talking about freezing his own semen. Mom and I couldn't help but crack up. This was the funniest conversation I have heard in a long time.

Nice. Where does your bishop's mind usually rest? :)
